FOR LEARNERS

1. Follow the classroom rules
2. It is recommended to use a laptop as some functions are not available on smartphones
3. Camera ON! – please do not use filters
4. Test your camera, microphone and link to the meeting before the class
5. Be seated in a quiet environment, treat the online meeting as a classroom
6. Do not do other activities whilst attending the class
7. No guests without permission
8. Use the raised hand function to speak, to avoid talking over one another
9. MUTE on arrival – stay muted if you have background noise, everyone can hear you
10. Use chat function for private and public messages
11. No recording/screenshotting without permission

FOR TEACHERS

1. Test equipment – be prepared
2. Mind the camera angle
3. Be aware of your students technical/digital skills when planning activities – incl. devices
4. Use short and clear instructions
5. Greet everyone – classroom and remote learners
6. Inform your learners of the classroom rules
7. Moderate classroom and remote learners actively
8. Use headset for one-on-one communication with remote learners
9. No recording or screenshotting without learners’ permission
10. Ensure every learner can see the same content simultaneously
